Our Story

My name is Lolita, and I’m the hands and heart behind L’s Cakery. I’ve always enjoyed baking, but my cake journey truly began in the most unexpected and heartwarming way.

One day, I baked a batch of cupcakes for my daughter’s Grade R class, where she was doing her teaching practical. I posted the photos on my WhatsApp status — just for fun — and a friend reached out asking if I could make Spiderman cupcakes for her grandson. I almost said no… but I went for it. And that was the moment I realised how much I truly loved bringing themed cakes to life.

Since then, I’ve been baking for birthdays, anniversaries, kids’ parties, and any special occasion that brings people together. Many of my early cakes were ones I made for free, simply because I loved the process and wanted to practice and grow.

Today, L’s Cakery is still rooted in that same spirit:
Family. Love. Creativity. Affordability.

Every cake is handmade with care, designed uniquely for the person receiving it, and priced so that families don’t have to choose between quality and affordability. My goal is simple:
make every celebration sweeter — one cake at a time.
